This all started with loss. When my loved one passed away, I wanted everything about their service to reflect who they were, their kindness, their laughter, their life. But when I held their funeral program in my hands, I felt heartbreak all over again. It was poorly designed, full of errors, and did not capture their spirit at all. In such a painful moment, that small detail mattered more than I expected. It felt like their story had been rushed and reduced to something that did not matter.

That experience changed me. I did not want another family to feel the disappointment and sadness I felt that day. No one should have to face the pain of losing someone they love and then be handed a program that does not honor their memory. I wanted to make sure every family could have a memorial keepsake that truly reflected the life of their loved one, something created with care and meaning.

That is how Obituaries Made Simple was born. It came from a place of grief, love, and determination to do better. My goal is to help families, entrepreneurs and funeral homes create beautiful, meaningful funeral programs that truly reflect the lives being remembered.
